Services
As a Doula, I Do Not:
Free Consultation
I offer a free consultation to families explaining how my services can assist them. I explain the process and will get added information for the families based on their certain circumstances.
3 Prenatal Visits
I will meet with you a minimum of 3 times before the birth but more if required due to circumstances surrounding your pregnancy. This is to build up a trusting relationship with the mother/parents.
Phone & Email Support
I am available via phone, text, email or social media such as Facebook messenger, where I can link you up with support groups that you can access at your leisure.
Professional Information
I will attend antenatal appointments with you if required and with sufficient notice given. I will listen and take notes as sometimes a lot of information is given and it can be overwhelming. I will just be in the background.
During labour
I will be supportive of you and your decisions, I will not make any decisions on your behalf, I will not perform any medical procedures. I will stay with you through out the labour and birth but will leave at anytime the mother wishes.
Baby’s first feeding Support
I am not a lactation specialist but I will support you to the best of my knowledge which may include information brochures to make it easier on you.

Perform any clinical tasks
I am not a midwife or a medical professional. I am a trained doula and have life experience so I can not and will not perform any clinical tasks.
Make decisions for you
I will not make decisions for you but I will support any decisions you make. I will not tell you what to do, I will offer my advice but will respect your decision and support you to the best of my abilities.
Postpartum follow-up visit
I will do 2 follow up visits to see how things are progressing around 2 and 6 weeks but can be contacted via text within this time if you need.
